Q. I’ve never meditated before. How do I get started?
A. Simply show up and we will lead you from there.
Q. I already have a workout schedule, how is meditation different?
A. Meditation is exercise for your mind. It is a workout for the strongest muscle you have, your brain.
Q. How do I know if I’m meditating the right way?
A. As long as you are meditating, you are on the right path. Meditation is a practice and with each session, you will become better at it and begin to enter you meditative states easier and at a deeper level.
Q. What if I can’t control my thoughts or be still during meditation?
A. Meditation is not about control or force, it is a practice to help you reach a quitter mind for short periods of time. Your thoughts will continue to be present, however, you will learn to acknowledge them and simply continue through your meditative state. Remember, reaching a meditative state of quieting the mind, even for a short few minutes, will provide you will massive, wondrous benefits.
Q. How should I dress?
A. You can meditate wearing just about anything. Many people stop by right after work in their power suits, others in whatever they have on that day. There is no need to change before class. Simply be comfortable.
Q. What about my personal items?
A. We have storage for your shoes and personal items. Please ensure your cell phone is turned off or on silent and stored along with your personal items.
Q. Where do I park?
A. The parking lot of the studio has limited spots. However, there is ample parking on the street, as well as in parking structure located next to the studio.
Q. What if I am late?
A. We encourage you to arrive10-15 minutes before class to avoid any interruptions and ensure that all of our guests enjoy and reap the benefits of each session.
Q. Can I rent the meditation room?
A. Yes, please approach any of our staff with your inquiries.
Q. Do you have private sessions and events?
A. We have private sessions for individuals and groups. Please approach any of our staff with your inquiries.
Q. Can I freeze my monthly memberships?
A. Yes, you can freeze your membership for two consecutive months per calendar year.
